I am a Freelance Sports Journalist with over a decade of experience in online, print and broadcast media. I have worked long term for Football West on a freelance basis as a reporter, sub-editor and matchday commentator for various league and cup competitions. I've also written and edited content for the Perform Group, which goes out to Omnisport's internal and external clients, including news articles, match reports and live text commentaries.

Previously I have worked as a freelance print and online match reporter with copy published in the Daily Mirror. During my time abroad, I also completed an internship at BBC Radio Sheffield and obtained a Masters in Sports Journalism from Sheffield Hallam University. I achieved first honours, having written my dissertation on the relationship between sport and globalisation.

I hold a BA Communications from Edith Cowan University in Perth, Western Australia, where I engaged in placements across various mediums to provide myself with the best skills base possible for roles subsequently performed.

I'm a lover of most sport, but football continues to be my greatest passion, as I follow and engage with the world game from the local competitions in WA to the top European leagues. I also take a keen interest in basketball, cricket and Australian Rules football, while other interests range from European food and culture, to stadium visits, and city exploring.
